The rawan butterbur's top — a round leaf like an umbrella. The canopy grows with the stand, each one reaching 2-3 blocks. It bears no fruit; breaking it yields 1-3 leaves and 1-2 rhizomes.

A fruitless giant herb is harvested by felling: stalks from the stem, leaves and rhizomes from the crown — replant the rhizomes and the stand carries on.
