A machine that decants a bucketful into bottles. Set the bottles and they fill, one at a time. No heat needed.
Obtaining
Usage
By hand
Put a bucket in the upper left slot and empty bottles below. When the tank is empty and a bottle is available, it charges and immediately returns the empty bucket through the front. Bottles then move into the working slot and fill in turn. The horizontal bar above shows the remaining liquid.
Water needs no bucket
With a water source beside the machine, water refills automatically when the tank is empty and an empty bottle is available.
Running it unattended
Supply buckets from above and empty bottles from the sides; filled bottles leave below. Empty buckets leave through the front immediately after charging. The next bucket waits in the input while liquid remains.
Input, work in progress and output
A bottle moves from the input on the left into the bright working slot in the middle, then to the output on the right. You can recover a working bottle, but cannot insert one directly. A separate gauge shows the stored liquid.
Slot layout and supply
Bucket supply sits directly above bottle supply, with arrows leading to the middle. Faint examples cycle through empty containers and supported filled buckets and bottles in each empty input slot. Below the working slot, falling liquid and a rising level inside a bottle show filling progress.
Behavior
One liquid at a time
While liquid remains, the next bucket waits until the reservoir is empty. Adding a milk bucket while water remains does not change the stored water. Keep the machine away from water sources when bottling milk.
An exchange rather than a profit
One bucketful makes sixteen bottles — and an empty bucket takes sixteen bottles' worth back. Nothing is created.
