Accepted material examples
Dedicated material slots accept only materials used in that role. Empty slots show faint examples of accepted materials, cycling through the alternatives. Quick moves from your inventory and hopper insertion follow the same restrictions.
The boil-down
Load the brine bottle from the vat and boil it down over heat into wet salt. Empty bottles move into the lower output slot, ready for the next draw. A hopper below collects both wet salt and empty bottles.
Input, work in progress and output
Restock the single input slot on the left. Brine bottles boil one at a time. Each bottle moves into the single bright working slot in the middle, then finishes in the output slots on the right. Restocking or replacing input does not change that batch. Working items can be recovered, but cannot be inserted directly. Removing part of a batch cancels it; recover the remainder before starting another.
Watching the process
Below the working slots, a diagram shows a shallow kettle with brine, white crystals and steam. The flame indicates heat, while the diagram shows processing. Its motion stops when processing stops.
