Ecological basis
Sasa bamboos widely cover Japanese forest floors and form dense stands where the canopy admits more light. Bamboo jungle and forest provide that bright understory.
Usage
Build the understory
Plant it on grass with one clear block above. Each placement chooses a new leaf count and direction. Bone meal does nothing; the two-high stand remains a forest-floor decoration.
Harvest either half
Break the base or leafy top and both halves come away as one collectible sasa plant.
