Put an ender pearl and rice bran into a jar and wait; one isekai pearl comes out. It takes as long as miso does.
The heart of a pocket
Sewing an isekai pocket takes one at the centre. Cloth and string alone make nothing but a bag.

Unlike an ender pearl it will not throw. Where it leads is not you, but the inside of the bag it is sewn into.

In the real world
A sphere polished from rock crystal is an old piece of craftsmanship: light gathers inside the clear stone and the world behind it appears upside down. Stories have long borrowed that "seeing through" for a prop that shows the far away.
Differences in game
The isekai pearl itself does not exist. It is a polished sphere like a crystal ball, but the otherworld inside it and the lights that blink there are the same ones you see through the mouth of an isekai pocket. Something of the ender pearl it was before the jar is left in it too.
