In the real world
Oribe's characteristic green comes from a copper-bearing glaze fired in an oxidising flame. Some pieces divide the green glaze across the surface and carry iron painting over the pale ground.
Differences in game
Satoyama gives no control over glaze divisions or kiln atmosphere; the iron pigment and green glaze always yield a green face with one lattice.
